Smart Home: Green + Wired, Powered by ComEd and Warmed by People’s Gas 2kW Solar Grid-Tied System is a must-see at Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry exhibit Smart Home: Green + Wired, Powered by ComEd and Warmed by People’s Gas, allows guests to tour a functioning three-story, modular and sustainable “green” home that highlights unique eco-friendly technologies for the 21st century. The exhibit home—designed by Michelle Kaufmann Designs™ and built by All American Homes™—will be open from March 19, 2009 - January 03, 2010. Visit www.msichicago.org to purchase tickets. The system uses 10 Uni-Solar PVL-136 solar modules and 10 Uni-Solar PVL-68 solar modules, and a Sunny Boy inverter. Home Energy is pleased to have designed and installed this amazing solar system for Chicago's famous Museum of Science and Industry.
